Log Line: Charlie Johnson charms the money out of Universal Films President Carl Laemmle and Henry Ford in 1916, to build the country’s greatest auto racing board track. After seven years of fame and fortune, Johnson flees to Cuba with the proceeds, only to return to face George Titlow, his early mentor, at the 1940 opener of the new Uniontown Speedway, causing Titlow’s demise.
