Greetings from Author/Publisher/Speaker/Historian Marci Lynn McGuinness,
The past 30 years have been an interesting and exciting ride. My writing has taken me through hundreds of years of history, tossing amazing stories my way. From Chief Nemacolin to George Washington, from the French and Indian War to the
coal & coke boom's famous wooden racetrack, silent film stars and the development of the
world's busiest white water haven, from
haunted historic sites to
sacred buffalo, I have been called upon and compelled to record fascinating Southwestern Pennsylvania happenings.
Today, I
promote the
Laurel Highlands region through
books, film, web, radio, television, print and
personal appearances. I also assist writers in becoming published
authors and
speak on writing, history, hauntings, sacred buffalo, publishing, and the importance of reading/literacy to build the mind and character.
