Hunting in Ohiopyle State Park and nearby
During established seasons more than 18,000 acres of Ohiopyle State Park are open to hunting and trapping game such as white tail deer, turkey, grouse, rabbit and squirrel. Hunting groundhogs is prohibited.
In certain areas, dog training is permitted from the day after Labor day to March 31.
Rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Conservation and the Pennsylvania Game Commission apply. Please use extreme caution at all times. The park is used by many visitors during all seasons.
Firearms and archery equipment may be uncased only in authorized hunting areas during hunting seasons. Loaded firearms are prohibited within 50 feet of the Yough Bike/Hike Trail.
Visit State Game Lands 51 and 11 adjacent to the park for more recreational and hunting opportunities.
